Children should be in the loving care of family, surrounded by teachers, friends, and people who want the best for them. They depend on people who work for their nourishment, potential, community, and security. War is a terrible force that strips away the people, systems, and  structures children need to thrive, most often leaving them traumatized and struggling to cope  with a new chaotic experience of life. This blog is dedicated to them, the children who are our  future, whose value is not determined by their birthplace or privilege, but by their connection to us all. Children are the future.
